Amnesty International Upper Yarra Group has changed its meeting day and venue. We are now meeting on the last Saturday of the month at 10am at the Community Space behind the shops in Warburton. Please call Sue on 0404 860 820 or contact via email if interested in coming to a meeting.

The Upper Yarra Valley Garden Club was established in 1984 by a group of garden lovers. Our organisation is affiliated with the Royal Horticultural Society of Victoria Inc. We have just completed 29 years on the 18th July. Club Meetings commence at 7:30PM on 3rd Monday of the month at the Warburton Senior Citizens Centre.

At 7pm Thursday on 20/9/12 a public meeting was hosted by Upper Yarra Community Voice to discuss interest in having a public hospital in the Upper Yarra. Location: Yarra Junction Bowling Club, Yarra Junction Reserve, Yarra Junction.

Our head office is centrally located in Yarra Junction (next door to the post office) and offers information on our many courses, and course enrolments; community and in-home care services; our family and childrens services and our community school, which caters for secondary school students who may have had difficulty in mainstream schooling. The Upper Yarra Landcare group was founded in 2009 by passionate locals who joined together to volunteer their time to improve their local environment and have fun doing it together. They also intend to improve the educational and training opportunities for people.
The area around McMahons creek is part of a pristine environment in the upper yarra river catchment it is our aim to preserve this environment and the flora and fauna that make up the rich biodiversity of this location. -
