What's On April 2014

Autumn in the Warburton Valley is one of the busiest times for events and festivals.

April 2014 is proving no exception with regional favourites The 8th Tesselaar Gardening and Plants Expo in Silvan and CRANK UP 32 in Yarra Junction on this weekend.

Crank Up includes a Woodchop on Sunday April 6th. If you've never taken the family to see the chips flying and the big men swing their axes - it's a great event and part of lots of family friendly activities happening both days this weekend.

Ecotopia Junction Community Festival - Next weekend Sunday April 13th - in Yarra Junction. Great 'eco friendly' festival with food, music and a focus on the honey bee! Big Forest Run - Powelly to Warby - Easter weekend Saturday April 19th. For those of you who like an 18km - 42km run through the beautiful Yarra State Forest - this one is for you. Annual Easter Fundraiser at Warburton Caravan Park - Easter Saturday and Sunday. Easter Bunny, Easter Egg hunt and best dressed bike competition on Saturday. Sunday live music with Ruckus, Yarra River Band, Wilbur Wilde and Peter Brocklehurst. Big fundraising sausage sizzle and family friendly location.
