Ben's Shed Yarra Junction

The shed not only supports a large number of men in the community it supports over sixty school students from local primary schools each year. These are mainly students who find mainstream school difficult, have behavioral problems and learning difficulties.

Time at Ben’s shed improves concentration, teaches a new skill, and creates friendships and opportunity to experience an adult world with a group of men who have the time to spend with them. Ben’s Shed has become an important hub of the community for many people. We value the extent of support we receive from local businesses.
