‘hands on’ Environment Discovery Centre in Warburton

NRCL has created an Environment Discovery Centre in the Landmark Warburton Waterwheel building. 

Within this building a unique journey of discovery will begin showcasing different aspects of Forest Life including our live animals and the diverse history of Warburton and the Upper Yarra Valley. 

Discover its first indigenous inhabitants, European settlement, logging, gold mining, agriculture and the way modern community has adjusted to preserve this unique and precious environment.

The Environment Discovery Centre operates 7 days a week for the general public by admission, and also providing Eco-Tours and an Eco-Retail shopping experience.
