Surviving Georgia

 

 

 

 

Surviving Georgia is an Australian feature film currently under production. Parts of Surviving Georgia have been filmed in Warburton - 65kms east of Melbourne CBD - over three weeks in November and December 2009.

The cast includes Pia Miranda, Alyssa Mcclelland, Shane Jacobson, Holly Valance and Caroline O'Conner. The film is directed by Kate Whitbread and Sandra Sciberras.

We have set up a website to celebrate the film extras and local community of Warburton - who supported production of Surviving Georgia with their time and local business generosity. But this Surviving Georgia website has just been taken offline (Feb 11) due to threat of legal action by the producers. We trust we will reactivate this soon - as a way to thank the many extras who often received just a sausage and sauce - after spending up to eight hours waiting to help the production. We are sure the production company will want to ensure Warburton continues to feel good about being part of their film. STAY TUNED>
