2011 Nordic Festival - May 21-22. Warburton became ‘Nordic’ for the weekend!

2011 Update. Congratulations Leila and her team of volunteers for making Warburton hum with Nordic pride. Fantastic displays, great entertainment, colourful hat wearing crowds that enjoyed a beautiful Saturday and avoided some passing showers on Sunday. The town was alive and all who attended had a great time.

Nordic Festival 2011 offers a “Smörgåsbord” of Nordic culture and experiences. From folk music and dance to ABBA; from Swedish Meatballs and Viking Feast to herring sandwiches and from art and photos to films. Meet real Nordic people, artists (like Visnja) and artisans and re-enactors passionate about the Viking era. Come and spend a weekend in the beautiful Warburton Valley - breathe in some crisp mountain air and relax!
