In the heart of the historic mountain township of Warburton, the Upper Yarra Arts Centre is part of the local shopping and cafe precinct that looks out on the upper reaches of the Yarra River.

The Centre seeks to provide quality and enjoyable arts and cultural programs for our diverse community. There is plenty to enjoy at the Upper Yarra Arts Centre for locals and visitors alike.  Drop in to view our  historic buildings encompassing the Mecca Theatre, Warburton Mechanics Institute Hall and Studio spaces.

The Centre caters for the performing arts and lifestyle interests of the community in a relaxed atmosphere. It is part of the Victorian Association of Performing Arts Centres, and presents a busy program of films, concerts, plays and dance performances by professional touring groups. It also presents key festivals and events, such as the annual Nordic Festival, Warburton Film Festival and the biannual Upper Yarra Harmony Festival.
